Brian Laurie has a team of fourteen music teachers working with him. Pupils can learn flute,clarinet, keyboard, guitar, piano, saxophone, violin, cello, singing, drums, viola, traditional fiddle and brass as well as the emphasised instrument, the accordion.

Lessons are weekly and pupils of all ages and abilities are encouraged,to enrol for lessons starting from 5 years through to adult and senior citizen.
The Academy is open from 9a.m to 10p.m. seven days a week. This allows shift workers and school children alike to have music lessons. There are Friday mother and toddler keyboard classes and several beginners classes at special rates.
Family discounts are offered as an encouragement across all instruments.
